This project by the Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand aims to create awareness and amplify the voices of Muslim women. Through social media content, we are sharing personal stories and lived experiences to showcase the talents and skills of our community, to increase awareness and understanding, and to counter gendered Islamophobia. Join us in celebrating the achievements, diversity, and empowerment of Muslim women. Together, we can challenge false narratives and negative stereotypes and promote a more inclusive and connected New Zealand.

We are so happy to have you join us on this journey to celebrate the incredible stories of Muslim women in New Zealand.
Our campaign has several goals:
1) To share voices that often go unheard
2) To promote understanding
3) To challenge stereotypes
Over the next two months, we will be sharing inspiring videos and stories that highlight the strength, talents and accomplishments of Muslim women in our community.
We ask everyone to simply just CHILL. Remember, your support can help motivate others to embrace inclusivity and challenge Islamophobia in their circles.
